Eternal Sun Group is a leading solar (PV) testing company. We are specialized in solar simulation and our customers typically are solar laboratories, research institutes, energy companies, green investors and solar panel manufacturers. Our head office and main production location are situated in The Hague. To be close to our customers we have offices in China and North America.

Requirements

To strengthen our production team in The Hague, we are looking for a professional and enthusiastic Assembly Mechanic.

We offer a full-time position within a young and dynamic (international) team consisting of 35 people at location The Hague, and still growing. At Eternal Sun you will find an open and honest working environment. In keeping with the character of our culture, we have a flat organizational structure. Your team consists of 6 professionals. The following tasks belong to those of the Assembly Mechanic.

  • Assembling our machines. We assemble in a clean environment on a high tech machine that simulates the sunlight
  • Build, wire and test switch panels and electrical cabinets
  • Test and calibrate our own produced machines
  • Unpack, install, test, calibrate and prepare machines for shipment
  • Occasionally travel to installations abroad. Only if you like to go of course and at most 2 to 3 times a year for a week

We look for colleagues with a mix of ingenuity, professionalism, independence and humor. You can work well together and communicate with colleagues, suppliers and customers. The following things you have or can do:

  • Preferably a completed technical education but more important to us are your technical expertise and experience
  • Relevant experience in electrical engineering, panel construction and / or mechanical assembly.
  • You are accurate and you can work independently, but you can also work well together. You are assertive enough to ask questions and make an active contribution to improving current processes.
