Our head office and main production location are situated in The Hague. To be close to our customers we have sales and service offices in China and North America.

The job

To further increase our market reach, we are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager. You will be trained to become the professional that best fits our market and commercial process.

A person with a (commercial) bachelor or master degree and experienced with market development, solution development, value conversations and opportunity generation. You feel comfortable when independently reaching out to potential clients, make first contact, qualify, develop and close opportunities around the world with frequent travelling.

 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Identify new opportunities
  • Manage and develop opportunities by careful customer need discovery, competitive positioning and stake holder management
  • Negotiate and close late stage pipeline opportunities
  • Manage and develop winning business strategies for specific markets and circumstances
  • Meeting personal goals and contribute to the company goals for safety, strategic progress, revenue and profitability.

Requirements

You

Are sales driven and have consciously decided to make a second career step in a small (30 person), young and fast growing company like ours. You get energy from starting, developing and closing opportunities, are an excellent team player, are interested in different cultures and willing to frequently travel the world, are fluent in English and will bring something new to the team.

 

The following are absolute must-haves:

  • Commercial instinct
  • 3-5 years relevant commercial/technical experience, preferred in the Middle East region
  • Ambitious attitude to develop towards a more senior commercial position
  • Strong skills in communication, you know how to LISTEN and how to have relevant conversations by asking the right questions
  • You have a structured work routine, master customer focused principles or are capable of learning and adopting them swiftly in your daily routines

The following are a very big plus:

  • Second or third language skills
  • Affinity with solar technology and sustainable solutions in particular
