Solar is the most economical way to generate electricity in many parts of the world. Development and further cost reductions will further boost solar to become the number one source of energy worldwide. Investments in solar require accurate risk calculations on performance and yield. We help solar research institutes, testing centres, energy companies as well as solar panel manufacturers to test solar panels at the highest accuracy by mimicking outside conditions in the best posible way. We make sunlight but also offer application expertise, in-house test services, customized technology development and fast customer service. Eternalsun Spire aims to be the number 1 provider of accurate solar testing worldwide.

Our head office, main production location and most of our 30 team members are situated in The Hague. To be close to our customers we also have sales and service offices in China and North America and work closely with representatives in India, Middle-East and Far-East. Our team consists of 10 different nationalities and we are anxious to diversify more.

Requirements

We are looking for a junior Sales Manager to strengthen our team that will:

  • Find new contacts that could benefit from our offering
  • Do structured customer need discovery, solution development and stake holder management
  • Close late stage pipeline opportunities
  • Develop winning business strategies for specific markets and circumstances
  • Manage our sales agents
  • Actively contribute to the company goals for safety and strategic progress

You will bring up to 5 years’ experience in commercial roles. You have consciously decided to continue your career in a small, ambitious and fast growing company. You get energy from leading the process of developing and closing opportunities in a team effort. You are interested in different cultures and, post Corona, willing to frequently travel the world.

  • Strong in communication; know how to LISTEN, how to have relevant conversations
  • Applying a structured work routine, master customer focused principles or are capable of learning and adopting them swiftly
  • Ambitious, to develop towards more ownership
  • Able to understand the basics of technical stuff
  • Well connected in the industry

For this specific role it helps if you have

  • A relevant cultural background or experience that supports working in Middle East and/or Far East.
  • Experience with managing remote sales agents
